한국전쟁 중 캐나다군 등 연합군이 중공군을 맞아 수적 열세에도 불구하고 승전한 가평 전투를 기념하기 위하여 캐나다에서 처음으로 지정된 위니펙 가평 공원의 개명 1주년을 맞아 교민 여러분들을 기념식에 초대합니다.
특히 이번 기념식은 캐나다 연방, 매니토바 주정부, 위니펙 시정부에서 관심을 갖고 가평 공원을 이름에 걸맞게 새로운 가평 전투 기념 공원으로 탈바꿈하기 위한 개발 계획을 발표할 예정이오니 교민 여러분들의 많은 참여를 바랍니다.
일시 : 2017년 4월 22일 토요일 오전 11시 30분 (기념식은 정오에 시작)
장소 : 위니펙 가평 공원(주소 : 330 Amherst St. Winnipeg)
<참고> 기념식 후 단체 기념사진 촬영이 있겠습니다. 어린이들은 한복을 입혀 데리고 오면 좋을 것 같습니다.
